This newly developed ballast processing machine from Plasser & Theurer has two types of drive – electric and diesel-electric (hybrid)
– a 600 kW diesel engine to generate electricity. The drive motors and hydraulics are always powered electrically. The electric drive
enables low-maintenance, low-noise and low-emission operation (reduced CO2).The future-oriented design essentially follows the function and occupational safety. The model is largely modelled on the model in terms of design and function.Innovation from Viessmann:
Operation either in driving or working mode when driving forwards at approx. 3 km / h with vertically and horizontally moved tamping unit. Motorised pantograph
moves. Various light functions. Digital decoder with original sound for electric or diesel operation for DCC, MM and analogue operation DC, RailCom
compatible. Perfectly synchronised tamping unit with the drive motors and the sound. High-quality two-piece model with a zinc die-cast chassis
and two synchronized drive motors that ensure powerful and sensitive driving, supported by integrated power storage.
